Job summary

Freudenberg is seeking a maintenance professional to uphold production and facility equipment under a preventive maintenance program. You will manage work orders, equipment records, and repair history while overseeing contractor work and ensuring safety standards.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and control systems, interpret schematics, and maintain inventory. This role requires strong mechanical skills, OSHA/EPA knowledge, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance position or similar transferable skills.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment, procedures, and processes.
• Strong mechanical skills; basic electrical system knowledge and safe troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and workplace safety regulations.
• Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to write clear work instructions and maintenance documentation.
• Active driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production and facility equipment per preventive maintenance program.
• Update maintenance database, equipment records, work orders, and repair history.
• Manage maintenance software, including work-order tracking and preventive maintenance scheduling.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and control systems.
• Install mechanical and electrical systems and oversee contractor work.
• Monitor maintenance parts, supplies, consumables, and inventory records.
• Interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals accurately.
