Position Overview

We are seeking a Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Pueblo, Colorado. The role involves maintaining all plant production equipment, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing machinery such as CNC milling machines, hydraulic presses, saws, planers, cranes, forklifts, welders, and other metalworking equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and CNC electronic systems on manufacturing machinery, material handling systems, cranes, forklifts, dust collection systems, and the physical plant.
• Train operators on preventative maintenance procedures and maintain a work order system.
• Layout, install, and start-up project work.
• Organize and maintain spare parts inventory.
• Understand operation of pneumatics, hydraulics, and general mechanics.
• Complete daily work orders and assignments promptly.
• Understand Programmable Logic Controls, Variable Frequency Drives, sensors, transducers, Pyrometers, Pressure Transducers & switches, Multimeters, Thermocouples, and Proximity sensors.
• Wire motors and controls up to 480 VAC.

Qualifications

Must have experience with mechanical, hydraulic, electrical systems, and CNC electronics. Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and general mechanics is required. Ability to wire motors and controls up to 480 VAC is essential.
