Job description

Mountlake Terrace, Washington, United States of America

Extraordinary Care. Extraordinary Careers.

With one of the nation’s largest, most innovative long-term care pharmacy services providers, there is no limit to the growth of your career.

Mercury Pharmacy Services, a Guardian Pharmacy, has an exciting opportunity for you to join our rapidly growing team in Mountlake Terrace, WA.

Why Mercury Pharmacy Services? We’re reimagining medication management and transforming care.

Who We Are and What We’re About:

Our core focus is delivering customized medication management solutions to support healthcare organizations serving seniors and individuals with complex care needs. With our comprehensive suite of tech-enabled pharmacy services and a dedicated team of professionals committed to enriching the lives of those we serve, we are redefining how pharmacy care is delivered.

We offer an opportunity to learn and grow your career in a fast-paced, diverse, and inclusive environment. If you are looking for a challenging, team-oriented environment in which you can put your expertise to work, then this is the place for you.

Pay: $23-$25 per hour
Schedule: Part-time

Approximately 20-24 hours per week with flexibility based on business needs and employee preference. Scheduling options may include:

  • Three 8-hour days per week, or
  • Four to five shorter shifts per week.

Are you mechanically inclined, enjoy working independently, and like having a variety of tasks throughout your day? We’re looking for a dependable team member to support facility maintenance, equipment repairs, customer deliveries, and pharmacy operations throughout the region.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, solving problems, driving to different locations, and taking pride in keeping equipment and facilities operating smoothly. Every day is a little different, and you’ll have the opportunity to work both independently and alongside a supportive pharmacy team.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and refurbish medication carts and pharmacy equipment.
  • Replace locks, wheels, drawers, hardware, and other cart components. Training provided.
  • Perform light building maintenance, including minor repairs, paint touch-ups, lighting replacement, door hardware repairs, ceiling tile replacement, and similar projects.
  • Deliver and pick up medication carts, equipment, and occasional medication deliveries to customer locations.
  • Travel locally and regionally to customer sites using company vehicles or approved personal vehicles.
  • Assist with equipment inventory management and basic office equipment setup.
  • Coordinate routine vehicle maintenance and servicing.
  • Support general housekeeping tasks, including maintaining clean workspaces and common areas.
  • Assist with special projects as needed while working closely with pharmacy staff.
  • Protect patient information and maintain HIPAA compliance at all times.
What We’re Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools.
  • Basic computer and technology skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality work.
  • Professional and comfortable interacting with customers and healthcare staff.
  • Previous experience in maintenance, delivery, construction, equipment repair, or related hands‑on work is preferred.
  • Washington State Pharmacy Assistant License, or the ability to obtain one after hire. We will assist with the licensing process.
Driving & Transportation

This position includes regular driving throughout our service area and may occasionally involve towing a small cargo trailer. Experience towing is helpful, but we’re happy to train the right candidate. Travel may include urban areas, healthcare facilities, and locations with limited parking or loading access.

Company vehicles or approved personal vehicles (with mileage reimbursement) may be used.

Physical Requirements
  • Lift and carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers.
  • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.
  • Drive for extended periods when servicing customer locations.
Why Join Us?
  • Competitive pay: $23-$25 per hour
  • Flexible part-time schedule
  • Independent, hands‑on work
  • Variety and travel throughout your week
  • Training provided
  • Opportunity to support healthcare facilities and make a meaningful impact
  • Collaborative team environment with room to learn and grow

If you’re the type of person who enjoys fixing things, solving problems, and staying active rather than sitting behind a desk all day, we’d love to hear from you.
