Job summary

Central Minnesota Mental Health Center in Saint Cloud, MN is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to support our campuses with daily facilities and grounds work. The role focuses on safe operations, furniture movement, basic repairs, and boiler checks, with a commitment to a caring workplace for staff and clients alike.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED, some maintenance experience, and a willingness to obtain a boiler license within six months.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Boiler license or willingness to obtain within 6 months of employment.
  • 1+ year grounds and facility maintenance experience.
  • Must occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
  • Clear DHS background check.
  • Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Facility maintenance across campus locations (St. Cloud, Monticello, Buffalo & Elk River).
  • Move/transport and assemble office furniture.
  • Repair construction problems; change light bulbs; painting.
  • Test boilers daily and ensure safe operation.
  • Perform monthly safety facility checks.
  • Maintain grounds and landscape; seasonal cleaning and gutter upkeep.

Job Description

Pay Range: $22.16/hour - $26.00/hour

Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours a week, flexible schedule, day hours)

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Facility maintenance (all campus locations: St. Cloud, Monticello, Buffalo & Elk River)
