Infirmary Health in Fairhope, AL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support safe and efficient hospital operations. The role covers general and preventive maintenance, along with repair, fabrication and installation of equipment according to standards.

Ideal candidates hold an apprenticeship in electrical, HVAC, plumbing or carpentry and have 2 of the last 4 years of maintenance experience; a valid unrestricted Class D driver’s license is required.

• 2 of the most recent 4 years' experience performing maintenance duties in a specialty craft.
• Proficient in the use of a volt/Ohmmeter.
• Completion of an Apprenticeship Program in electrical, HVAC, plumbing or carpentry.
• 2 of the most recent 4 years' experience performing maintenance duties.

Performs a variety of general and preventive maintenance to ensure safe and effective plant operations. Including maintenance, repair, fabrication, and installation of various equipment in accordance with established standards.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

2 of the most recent 4 years' experience performing maintenance duties in a specialty craft

Proficient in the use of a volt/Ohmmeter

• Completion of an Apprenticeship Program in electrical, HVAC, plumbing or carpentry
• 2 of the most recent 4 years' experience performing maintenance duties

And

Working knowledge of a minimum of 2 of the following crafts:

• Maintenance Mechanics
• Electrical
• Carpentry
• Painting
• HVAC/Refrigeration

Licensure, Registration, Certification:

Active Unrestricted Class D U.S. driver's license

Desired Qualifications

Completion of a two-year technical school program
