Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Shop Tech C (3pm start) in Eden Prairie, MN. The role involves preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment to support our fleet and drivers.

You will work under supervision, completing basic mechanical/electrical tasks, inspections, oil changes, and light repairs while following SOPs and training programs.

Qualifications

• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required.
• ASE Certification T8 PM is a plus but not required.
• 1-3 years of experience in vehicle maintenance or repair.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot faults.

Responsibilities

• Maintains basic knowledge of a vehicle's mechanical and electrical systems for preventive maintenance and simple repairs.
• Perform oil changes, fluid replenishment, tire changes and light repairs.
• Conduct visual inspections to identify issues and potential malfunctions with tools.

Able to conduct visual inspections to identify potential equipment issues and the sources of malfunctions using a variety of tools.* Completes applicable Company training programs.* Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.**QUALIFICATIONS:*** Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required.* Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification T8 PM is a plus but not required.* 1-3 years of experience* Ability to follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot common faults.* Valid Driver’s License is preferred**Pay Range:**The pay range for this position is $24.10 to $33.10\\* which reflects the minimum wage in multiple jurisdictions.
