Job summary

Northland Constructors of Duluth, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Shop Assistant to perform general maintenance tasks, including shop upkeep, snow/ice removal, assisting mechanics, parts pickups, and inventory management on site.

This part-time seasonal role runs May through November with opportunities for advancement. Applicants must be 18+, hold a valid driver’s license, and be able to obtain Fed Med Card and CDL.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to obtain Fed Med Card and CDL.
• Physically fit to perform the job functions including the ability to stand, squat, bend, lift, and walk for long durations.
• Able to communicate effectively.
• Ability to listen and take direction.
• Willingness to be a team player but also able to work independently.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a Maintenance Shop Assistant to perform general maintenance tasks which may include but are not limited to:

• Shop upkeep and site maintenance
• Snow/Ice removal
• Assist Mechanics with repairs
• Pick up and deliver parts
• Inventory, sort and organize parts and supplies
• Other tasks as needed

On the job training will provide the knowledge and skills to become a productive member of our team, with the potential for advancement opportunities. This is a part-time seasonal position, working May through November.
