Job summary

NOVO Health Services in the hospital linen industry is seeking a full-time maintenance technician to perform repairs, adjustments, overhauls, and preventive maintenance on laundry and boiler room equipment. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems quickly with urgency and ensure uptime.

Duties include ordering parts, wiring in systems, operating safely, following HAZMAT and OSHA requirements, and assisting the Supply Chain team with maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform skilled mechanical and electrical work on laundry and boiler room equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electronic problems quickly and accurately.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Repair, adjustment, overhauls, and preventive maintenance on laundry and boiler room equipment.
• Order parts and manage vendor relationships to maintain equipment function.
• Input work orders for damaged equipment and track through systems.
• Operate forklifts or man lifts and follow safety policies.
• Assist Warehouse/Labor team within Supply Chain and Logistics.
