The Maintenance Shift Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining equipment and facilities through planned, predictive, and breakdown maintenance. This role is for the C Team, 6:00pm - 6:00am, 2-2-3 schedule.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose failures, replace defective components, and troubleshoot using manuals, diagrams, and instructions.
  • Maintain machinery including pneumatic tools, motors, conveyors, and production equipment with testing and measuring instruments.
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including testing circuits and replacing or installing electrical components.
  • Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, inspect wiring, and test electrical safety and efficiency.
  • Repair complex electrical equipment such as motors, switches, panels, relays, and communication systems.
  • Install electrical conduits and work from schematics and layouts to diagnose issues.
  • Improvise fixes to ensure equipment operation and assist engineers in troubleshooting.
  • Perform cleaning, lubrication, and inspection of repairs, ensuring safety and compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Prepare new equipment for operation and follow preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Order and requisition parts and equipment as needed.
  • Report shift metrics and maintain maintenance logs.
  • Keep the shop and production floor clean, organized, and safe.
  • Work safely, participate in process improvements, and support team goals.
  • Support manufacturing and facilities to ensure top operational condition.
  • Perform minor repairs such as painting, masonry, plumbing, and HVAC oversight.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Interpersonal, mathematical, mechanical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Motivated for productivity, safety, and quality improvements.
