Arlington Properties is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician in Sarasota, FL to join our property management team. You''ll prep vacant apartments, handle work orders, and perform general maintenance such as electrical, plumbing, painting, HVAC support, and appliance repair.

You''ll keep grounds inviting, support preventative maintenance, and assist with seasonal tasks. We value hands-on workers who stay safe, communicate well with residents and team, and are ready to be on-call for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–5 years hands-on maintenance experience.
• Proficiency in at least one major trade.
• EPA certification preferred.
• Valid driver''s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments to market-ready condition.
• Handle work orders with skill and urgency.
• Perform general maintenance including light plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC support, and appliance repair.
• Keep grounds and common areas clean and inviting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–5 years of hands‑on maintenance experience (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.)
• Proficiency in at least one major trade area
• EPA certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in all conditions
• Excellent communication and professionalism with residents and team members
• Available to work flexible schedules, including weekends and on‑call shifts
