Description

Maintenance Repairers are a vital part of Rochester Metal Products, helping to sustain production. These positions are responsible for troubleshooting and repairing foundry equipment as needed.

Pay Rates:

• Maintenance Class AA: $37.91
• Maintenance Class A: $36.87
• Maintenance Class B: $35.83
• Maintenance Class C: $33.23
• Maintenance Trainee: $25.34

Requirements

• Ability to operate and use hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently; or, occasionally more.
• Ability to work in high heat environments.
• Ability to understand and follow all safety procedures and requirements.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment using preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Basic knowledge and ability to troubleshoot PLC systems.
• Knowledge and understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with customers and management.
• Knowledge and experience using LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out).
• Ability to work weekends.
• Good judgment and decision-making skills.
• Good time management skills.
• Knowledge and understanding of proper PPE usage.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions with attention to detail.
