State of Louisiana is seeking a maintenance/custodial technician to perform repairs and preventative maintenance on low-rent housing units and related facilities. The role includes operating equipment, grounds maintenance, litter collection, and making units ready for occupancy.
The position requires 2 years of relevant experience or a qualifying vocational program. Work hours are 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Thursday, with one on-call week per month. Salary varies by qualifications and experience.

The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of maintenance and custodial tasks to include but not limited to, conducting repairs and preventative maintenance to low rent housing, operating equipment, performing grounds maintenance, collecting litter and cleaning units/make ready.

Career Progression: This position does not participate in a CPG.
Work Schedule: Work hours are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Thursday. On Call one week a month.
Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
