Ashland LLC. is seeking a Maintenance Manager for the Freetown, MA facility to lead site maintenance, reliability, and infrastructure improvements.

You will drive predictive maintenance, data-driven decision making, and a strong culture of ownership across E&I, electricians, mechanics, and planners. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 5 years of maintenance/reliability experience, including leadership of multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance and reliability experience in manufacturing.
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of predictive maintenance technologies (vibration, infrared, oil analysis, motor diagnostics).
• Experience with reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and preventive/predictive programs.
• Understanding of utilities, boilers, pressure systems, and industrial infra.
• Experience using CMMS like Maximo for work management and reliability analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage priorities, lead through change, and drive improvement.

Responsabilités

• Provide transformational leadership for site maintenance and reliability.
• Develop and improve a comprehensive maintenance strategy with predictive tech and data analytics.
• Ensure infrastructure and equipment support safe, compliant operations with minimal downtime.
• Lead Electrical & Instrumentation teams and maintenance staff.
• Set performance expectations and accountability for maintenance execution and reliability.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, EHS, and Supply Chain on maintenance planning.
• Oversee planning/scheduling, resources, and contractor coordination.
• Troubleshoot equipment and systems to restore safe operation.
• Champion root cause analysis and corrective actions to eliminate failures.
• Own asset lifecycle management, spare parts strategy, and obsolescence planning.
• Develop and manage the maintenance budget and capital planning.
• Participate in MOC processes to assess maintenance impacts.
