Job summary

Countryside Senior Living of Athens is seeking a part-time maintenance technician to support our Wonder Residents by keeping common areas, apartments, and outdoor spaces in good repair.

You will perform minor fixes, inspect electrical and mechanical systems, install small appliances, and assist with renovations in collaboration with the Administrator. A valid driver's license and 1–2 years in maintenance are required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of maintenance experience in commercial or residential settings.
• Thorough knowledge of building materials and tools used in maintenance and repair.
• Working knowledge of building structures and systems (boilers, electrical, HVAC).

Responsibilities

• Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks and filling gaps on walls.
• Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues.
• Install appliances and equipment as needed.
• Do garden and yard upkeep and collect trash.
• Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g., ventilation).
• Check functionality of safety systems (e.g., fire alarm).
• Collaborate with Administrator during renovations.
• Report to Administrator for issues.
