Job summary

Albanese Confectionery Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Production Support team member to perform preventative maintenance and assist with changeovers and startup activities in the plant.

This role supports maintenance and production teams while upholding safety and efficiency across operations. The ideal candidate will read weight scales, use hand tools and measuring devices, and lift up to 25 pounds regularly, with occasional 50-pound lifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Must have basic math skills (with use of a calculator).
• Must be able to read and interpret weight scale readings and tape measures.
• Must display mechanical aptitude and understanding motion components.
• Must be able to properly use tools in service of equipment.
• Must be able to lift up-to 25 pounds consistently and 50 pounds on occasion.
• Must be able to stand for the duration of a 12-hour shift with applicable breaks.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance activities.
• Perform activities in support of operational startups, changeovers, and shutdowns.
• Support, to include repair, of equipment breakdowns.
• Provide material movement support for maintenance and operations.
• Perform equipment and facility safety checks throughout the plant.
• Service production utilities, end-of-use tooling e.g., hot hoses, air hoses, hose reels.
• Assist Production and support as required to maintain a constant and effective flow of operations.
• Perform general maintenance on various pieces of equipment to support operations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment with consideration of all those who may be working in the same area.
• Document on paper and electronically production and maintenance activities.
• Perform sanitary activities.
• Follow company safety procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
