Job summary

United Land Services is a leading landscape maintenance provider seeking a Maintenance Production Manager to oversee operational aspects of maintenance functions in the Orlando region. You will schedule resources, direct crews, and support Account Managers in service delivery and budgeting.

The role requires hands-on leadership, communication, and a focus on safety and quality standards while coordinating materials, equipment, and subcontractors to meet client expectations.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of landscaping equipment, tools and machinery.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong time management with a sense of urgency.
• Basic computer skills and daily software use.
• Demonstrated safety leadership and adherence to protocols.
• Valid driver's license; travel between sites as needed.
• At least five years in maintenance landscaping incl. 2+ years in leadership.

Responsibilities

• Work with Account Manager to identify staffing needs and create daily schedules.
• Complete paperwork for employee changes and hires.
• Provide training and growth plans for staff.
• Ensure safety records and standards are maintained.

United Land Services is a leading commercial landscaping company providing year-round landscape maintenance and a full range of landscape services. We work with a variety of properties, including single-family home developments, condominium communities, commercial buildings, and shopping centers. Our services include landscape design and installation, irrigation, hardscapes, and ongoing maintenance, with a focus on providing reliable, high-quality service to our customers.

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Production Manager to oversee the operational aspects of our maintenance functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling and directing resources to provide quality, cost-effective services to our clients, and will also support our Account Managers in customer service, estimating, and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Understanding client needs through regular communication with the Account Manager.

• Ensuring that job site quality and appearance meet client and company standards.

• Managing all landscape services, including the coordination of all materials, people, equipment, and subcontractors.

• Inspecting properties prior to scheduled service and preparing specific action plans.

• Monitoring irrigation systems, identifying problems or necessary repairs, and communicating recommendations.

• Identifying insect or disease problems in the landscape.

• Performing hands-on work with crews to meet work and scheduling demands when necessary.

• Implementing and enforcing company policies and procedures related to safety, equipment upkeep, storage, use, and training.

• Working with the Account Manager to identify staffing needs, hire new crew members, and prepare daily crew schedules.

• Completing paperwork for all employee changes and hires.

• Communicating with, counseling, training, disciplining, reviewing, and developing growth plans for employees.

• Providing hands-on training and support of crew members, including proper operation of equipment, pruning techniques, safety, and quality standards.

• Monitoring safety records and focusing on safety standards.

• Ordering materials as needed and monitoring costs and deliveries.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of equipment, tools, and machinery needed for landscaping operations.

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

• Excellent time management skills and a strong sense of urgency.

• Computer skills.

• Safety leadership skills.

• Minimum of five years of progressive maintenance landscaping industry-related experience, including at least two years of leadership experience.

• Valid driver's license required, as this role may involve driving between job sites and operating company vehicles.
