Job summary

Washington County seeks a Maintenance Worker to perform semi-skilled trades and general facility upkeep. The role includes operating light trucks and grounds equipment, performing basic repairs, and maintaining county-owned facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years semi-skilled laborer experience in one or more trades.
• Minimum 3 years groundskeeper or turf maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist carpentry, masonry, and plumbing repairs as needed.
• Paint with minimal supervision.
• Safely operate small power tools and equipment.
• Operate mowers, tractors, and snow throwers.
• Perform basic maintenance and repair of County facilities and equipment.
• Occasionally lead general housekeeping and minor repair tasks.
