Position Overview: Weekend Porter / Maintenance Support – requires weekend availability for general maintenance tasks including removal of tenant trash and recycling. Located in the City of Rensselaer, The Apartments at DeLaet’s Landing is a 10+ acre community with two 4-story buildings and various amenities. The main focus is to maintain cleanliness, remove tenant trash and recycling, and support general maintenance.

Schedule: 4 hours on Saturday and 4 hours on Sunday, with flexible hours available.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness of lobbies and common areas
• Operate trash compactors and remove trash from two buildings twice daily
• Manage recycling containers and dispose of recyclables twice daily
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and empty trash cans
• Spot clean and restock restrooms as needed
• Inspect outdoor areas for litter and maintenance issues during weekends

Requirements:

• Wearing PPE, including safety shoes, is required due to heavy machinery and potential hazards
