Job summary

Plaza Mariachi is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to handle building upkeep, equipment repairs, and general facility maintenance. You will respond to emergencies, operate tools, and perform a variety of tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in maintenance and is able to work independently, with a flexible schedule for emergencies. This role requires proactive problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in maintenance, repairs, or related trades.
• Ability to operate power tools and specialized equipment safely.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical work.
• Forklift operation experience preferred
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate emergency calls.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency repair needs and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Operate and maintain a pressure washer for cleaning projects.
• Perform painting, carpentry, plumbing, and general building repairs.
• Fix leaks and perform basic mechanical repairs.
• Safely operate power tools and equipment.
• Assist with food and beverage inventory management.
• Receive and organize shipments.
• Operate a forklift for loading/unloading as needed.
• Move and arrange furniture or other heavy items.
• Provide occasional personal maintenance assistance as directed.
