Job description

Applications are now being sought for Maintenance/Porters/General Hands/Drivers to work in our 4-Star Boutique Hotel and Spa on Mount Buller for the 2025 Ski Season.

The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within a 4-5 star hotel/resort. A polite and pleasant manner is essential, along with excellent communication skills, immaculate presentation, and an eye for detail. We require team players who are hardworking, reliable, and physically fit. You must be prepared to work a six-day week during the season and always maintain a sunny disposition.

What will I be doing?

As Hotel Maintenance/Porter/General Hand, you are required to work alongside all departments of the hotel to deliver an excellent guest experience. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Meeting and Greeting guests
• Providing exceptional levels of customer service
• Attend to basic maintenance of guest rooms
• Daily maintenance checks on the swimming pool and spa
• Respond to guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
• Ensure communication meetings are conducted when changing shifts
• Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation

• Ability to work individually and in a team
• This position involves heavy lifting and physical fitness is necessary

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

• Australian resident or must have a current working visa for Australia
• Seasonal Work - must be available from June 2025 to the end of September 2025
