Basic Function

This position involves facility maintenance duties and customer interface. Previous experience is preferred but not required. The individual must perform with minimal supervision. Additional duties may include equipment service and general housekeeping tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as per checklists and supervisor instructions to ensure cleanliness using appropriate tools.
2. Inspect the garage daily for maintenance issues and address them promptly.
3. Clean around entrances, exits, stairwells, and other areas, including sweeping, trash removal, and surface cleaning.
4. Paint facility surfaces as directed to maintain appearance.
5. Replace bulbs and apply oil absorbent to spills.
6. Request repairs or maintenance when needed.
7. Check safety items and operational aspects of garage equipment.
8. Maintain records of gate and ticket operations and inventory supplies.
9. Operate cleaning and outdoor equipment such as sweepers, lawnmowers, and snow removal tools.
10. Report safety hazards or policy violations promptly.
11. Practice customer service principles and assist customers as needed.
12. Handle customer complaints independently or with supervisor assistance.
13. Be familiar with all operational aspects and cover other duties including cashier or attendant roles when required.
14. Maintain a professional appearance and punctuality.
15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent; experience in maintenance, electrical, or painting preferred depending on the role.

License Requirement: Valid driver's license with a good record.

Availability to Work: Flexibility for shifts, including possibly third shift and weekends.

Communication Skills: Clear spoken and written English, good listening skills.

Customer Service: Positive attitude and responsiveness to requests.

Adaptability and Judgment: Ability to adapt to changes and exercise sound judgment.
