Job summary

A-dec is seeking a Maintenance PM Mechanic I to perform advanced preventive maintenance on a variety of production machinery, including CNC centers. The role involves simple repairs, fabrication, and welding as assigned, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Candidates should have 2–3 years of mechanical/technical manufacturing experience, strong tool skills, and familiarity with CMMS. The position supports continuous improvement and requires adherence to ISO/OSHA/DEQ standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of related mechanical/technical work experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Experience with measuring equipment including micrometers, dial indicators, heat guns.
• Familiarity with CMMS (CribMaster) is a plus.
• HazMat certification or willingness to obtain within first year of employment.
• Ability to interpret machine part books and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced preventive maintenance on production machinery, including CNC centers.
• Provide routine maintenance such as lubrication and cleaning to meet safety and ergonomic standards.
• Inspect and, when needed, recommend repair or replacement components.
• Collaborate with supervisors and senior mechanics on projects and direction.
• Maintain CMMS records and order maintenance supplies as needed.
• Follow ISO, OSHA, and DEQ requirements and participate in continuous improvement.
