An established industry player is seeking a skilled Maintenance Plumber/Pipefitter to join their team. This full-time position involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across district facilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing, a strong understanding of plumbing codes, and the ability to work independently as well as lead a small crew. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe operation of all plumbing systems, making a significant impact on the community. This position is assigned work at the journeyman level to install, repair and maintain a variety of pipes, fittings, and plumbing fixtures (water/sewer/steam/gas), including pipefitting and steam fitting districtwide. Maintenance Plumber/Pipefitter is distinguished from other maintenance positions in that specialized knowledge is required to perform the work assigned to maintain and provide for the safe condition and operation of all plumbing systems in district facilities.
