Northrop Grumman has an opening for a Maintenance Plumber Level 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals! The selected candidate will work on site in Palmdale, California.

Job Functions:

• Performs repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipment.

• Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.

• Uses hand and power tools.

• Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment.

• Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.

• Installs, maintains, and repairs pipes, drains, guttering, mechanical services, and related equipment for water supply, gas, drainage, sewerage, and other duties as assigned.

• Replaces and/or repairs fixtures, water heaters, cleans drains, performs minor interior repairs (drywall, tile, ceilings, etc.), reconfigures conference rooms, escorts, and other daily trade tasks as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of experience working in the manufacturing industry, maintenance, and/or construction environment.

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.

• Able to work on site in Palmdale, California.

• Plumbing experience.

• Ability to work 4/10 (4 days a week/10 hours a day).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using Maximo Data Base for work tickets and job assignments.

• Experience in Aerospace/Defense Industry.

• Strong computer, math, analytical, and planning skills.

Salary Range: $57,800 - $96,300

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
