Northrop Grumman has an opening for a Maintenance Plumber Level 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals! The selected candidate will work on site in Palmdale, California.
Job Functions:
Performs repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipment.
Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.
Uses hand and power tools.
Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment.
Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
Installs, maintains, and repairs pipes, drains, guttering, mechanical services, and related equipment for water supply, gas, drainage, sewerage, and other duties as assigned.
Replaces and/or repairs fixtures, water heaters, cleans drains, performs minor interior repairs (drywall, tile, ceilings, etc.), reconfigures conference rooms, escorts, and other daily trade tasks as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of experience working in the manufacturing industry, maintenance, and/or construction environment.
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
Able to work on site in Palmdale, California.
Plumbing experience.
Ability to work 4/10 (4 days a week/10 hours a day).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using Maximo Data Base for work tickets and job assignments.
Experience in Aerospace/Defense Industry.
Strong computer, math, analytical, and planning skills.

Salary Range: $57,800 - $96,300
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
