Job summary

Boeing in Everett, WA is seeking a Maintenance Plumber for its Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) organization. The role supports 24/7 building and ground maintenance and initial installations at major Boeing sites.

Responsibilities include diagnosing, testing, repairing, and constructing plumbing systems, working at heights up to 125 feet, and adapting to 2nd or 3rd shift with shift differential. Backflow/higher‑pressure systems experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in the plumbing or pipefitting trade.
• Ability to work at heights up to 125 feet with safety gear and fall protection training.
• Willingness to work any required shift.
• Preferred: backflow prevention, chemical process tank lines, or high‑pressure steam systems.
• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Trade certification (e.g., backflow, fitter).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, test, and repair all types of plumbing lines and fixtures.
• Repair, construct, install, rebuild, adjust, and modify plumbing lines and fixtures.
• Layout, construct, maintain, diagnose, repair, adjust, modify, rebuild, and test plant facility plumbing, including air, gas, water, and drain lines, sprinkler systems, gasoline pumps, high and low pressure steam equipment, liquid, air, and vacuum pumps, pneumatic controls, regulating valves, oxygen, hydrogen, hydraulic systems, boiler and furnace burners, pilot lights, governors, floats, strainers, and oil pumps.
• Perform incidental work described in other maintenance classifications when necessary.

Other Details

• Location: Everett, Washington – 100% onsite required.
• Shift: 2nd shift and potentially 3rd shift; shift differential paid.
• Export Control compliance: must be a US Person (citizen, permanent resident, refugee, asylee).
• Backflow licensing provided by the company; trade license incentives paid.
• No relocation assistance—candidates must live locally or relocate at their own expense.

Pay and Benefits

Summary pay range: $33.32 per hour – $61.01 per hour. Total Rewards package includes health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance, and paid/unpaid time off. Eligibility depends on location and collective bargaining agreements.
