Job summary

Arconic is seeking a Maintenance Planner to join the Hot Rolling Team in Davenport, IA. You will plan and schedule mechanical and electrical maintenance work, coordinating with maintenance, shops, production, supply chain, contractors and engineering to ensure timely and cost-effective execution.

The role requires at least 2 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and eligibility to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma/GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.
• Access to controlled technology per ITAR/EAR; export control compliance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Estimate, plan and schedule work by craft personnel in a cost-effective manner.
• Serve as liaison between maintenance, shops, production, supply chain, contractors and engineering.
• Provide detailed, step-by-step plans, parts and materials for crafts and unit supervisors.
• Determine work priorities with maintenance and production supervision.
• Manage safety lists, backlogs, TPM tags and maintenance work orders for prompt scheduling.
• Lead equipment shutdowns and adjust schedules post-outage for improvements.
• Implement ABS (Lean Manufacturing) tools into Maintenance.
