Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Planner (Mechanical/Electrical) to coordinate planned maintenance activities and ensure reliable operations on the Clyde, OH site. You will assemble labor, parts and tools to maximize wrench time and safety.

The role requires hands-on technical knowledge and strong collaboration with production, engineering and scheduling teams. The position offers a first shift schedule (Mon–Fri 6:30 am–3 pm) and a starting wage of $38.80 per hour.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related technical field.
• Associate degree or completion of a four-year apprenticeship/technical program preferred.
• Able to identify, kit, and manage parts and materials for planned maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Identity and kit all parts required for planned jobs with storeroom and vendors.
• Coordinate with Production Scheduling, Leadership and Engineering to schedule maintenance and repairs.
• Use SAP CMMS to review, prioritize, and schedule maintenance requests for optimal equipment use.
• Develop detailed Job Plans and project sheets for craftspeople and preventive maintenance.
• Participate in PM pillar activities and EWO process. Lead safety-conscious maintenance planning.
• Provide daily technical assistance to Maintenance, Production Leadership, Craftspeople, and Engineering.
• Investigate spare parts requirements and manage obsolescence in NPS.
• Manage maintenance contractors for planned repairs and inspections.
