Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Planner (Mechanical/Electrical) to coordinate planned maintenance, assemble labor, parts, and tools, and maximize wrench time for facility reliability. You will interface with Production Scheduling, Engineering, and leadership to schedule tasks and ensure efficient equipment upkeep.

Daily responsibilities include managing materials, executing job plans, and leading PM and safety processes.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related technical field.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
An Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or a related technical discipline is preferred.
Completion of a four-year apprenticeship/technical program or State Journeyman Card in a relevant trade is required.
Strong understanding of equipment repair and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

Order and manage materials: identify and kit all parts required for planned jobs, working with storeroom and vendors.
Coordinate with Production Scheduling, Leadership, and Engineering to schedule planned maintenance and equipment repairs.
Review, prioritize, and schedule all incoming maintenance requests within the CMMS (SAP).
Develop detailed Job Plans and project sheets for craftspeople and Preventive Maintenance.
Lead PM pillar activities, expansion activities, and the EWO process.
Provide daily technical support to Maintenance and Production Leadership, Craftspeople, and Engineering.
Investigate spare parts requirements and manage obsolescence in NPS.
Manage maintenance contractors for planned repairs and inspections.
Ensure safety permits and LOTO procedures are followed.
