A leading company in food processing is looking for a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to manage maintenance activities, ensuring optimal efficiency and quality. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical and mechanical skills, good leadership capabilities, and familiarity with inventory operations. This role plays a critical part in improving the maintenance process and coordinating efforts across multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Good electrical and mechanical skills required.
• Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance program is essential.
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish and/or English/Polish) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all maintenance activities and maintain Preventive Maintenance program.
• Monitor the entire maintenance process and improve as needed.
• Lead Improvement projects and manage PM cycle.

Job description

The Maintenance Planner / Scheduler will oversee and coordinate all repairs, replacements, and modifications of processing, packaging and facility equipment with optimal quality and efficiency.

Day to day Responsibilities:

• Provide support to Process Improvement (PI) projects and participate on safety teams.
• Coordinate all maintenance activities.
• Maintain Preventive Maintenance program.
• Properly communicate with Production and Maintenance Departments.
• Keep good records of KPI and Goals.
• Keep track of Work Orders and re-route them properly.
• Work closely with Inventory stock operation.
• Maintain Data for equipment.
• Lead Improvement projects.
• Manage PM cycle and update if necessary.
• Plan and coordinate parts availability for planned WO's with Inventory stock room.
• Monitor the entire maintenance process and improve as needed.
• Assist other sides and share best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

• Good electrical and mechanical skills.
• Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance program.
• Required computer skills: MP2, D7i, Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Good leadership skills.
• Familiarity with Inventory stock room operation.

Other Desired Qualifications/Skills:

• Related bachelor's degree or Maintenance Skills associate degree.
• Ability to use multi-meter and other measurement instruments.
• Ability to troubleshoot PLC controls, such as Allen-Bradley and GE Fanuc.
• Ability to demonstrate proficient fabrication and welding skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic system.
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish and/or English/Polish).
