Job summary

CookUnity in New York is seeking a Maintenance Planner to keep our food warehouse and fulfillment center safe, reliable, and efficient. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial kitchen equipment, warehouse systems, and facility infrastructure to support day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in maintenance, repair, or facility operations in food/warehouse.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and repair of equipment and systems.
• Able to work safely in a live warehouse and food ops environment.
• Strong problem-solving with proactive issue resolution.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and calibrations.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and identify root causes across systems.
• Repair and implement long-term reliability improvements.
• Support preventive maintenance schedules.
• Document activities and maintain safety-compliant records.
• Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs.
• Ensure safety and food safety standards are met.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment.
• Assist leadership with additional facility needs.
