Job summary

AWS/CES is seeking a self-directed Maintenance Planner for our automotive manufacturing client in Louisville, KY. This role supports Purchasing and Maintenance, handling purchasing requisitions, inventory accuracy, and CMMS data entry.

You will generate Preventive Maintenance reports, coordinate tools and equipment for repair, and maintain supplier information while communicating with sub-suppliers. A fast-paced environment and attention to detail are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in purchasing, inventory, maintenance or manufacturing preferred.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using computers and entering data accurately.
• Ability to work daily or weekend overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for maintenance parts and supplies.
• Perform data entry and updates within the CMMS.
• Generate and maintain Preventive Maintenance reports.
• Coordinate sending tools and equipment out for repair.
• Verify and maintain non-production parts inventory.
• Assist with reconciling Procurement Card purchases.
• Research vendors and maintain supplier information.
• Communicate with sub-suppliers regarding purchased services.
• Maintain plant office supplies and assist with tasks from the Maintenance Manager.
• Support Purchasing and Maintenance teams with daily administrative needs.

• Pay: up to $26/hr


• Job Type: Full-Time

Our client is seeking a self-directed and organized Material Planner to support the Purchasing and Maintenance departments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced manufacturing environment, can manage multiple priorities, and is comfortable working with computers, inventory, purchasing, and maintenance systems.

Key Responsibilities
