LHH is seeking a Maintenance Planner for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is an opportunity to join one of the fastest growing industries in America and to become part of a strong maintenance team that embraces technology, innovation, and preventative maintenance. You will be responsible for scheduling routine maintenance for production equipment while minimizing equipment downtime and impact on production, assisting in managing the MRO stockroom, and assisting with capital projects. The compensation is commensurate to experience ranges between $70,000-75,000 per year and includes a comprehensive benefit package, 401k plan, and generous PTO and holiday offerings.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee work orders, documentation, and assets within the CMMS.
Organize and prioritize corrective and preventive maintenance tasks.
Organize plant-wide shutdowns for MRO activities.
Plan and schedule corrective and preventive maintenance activities by task and priority level.
Adjust maintenance schedule based upon employee feedback.
Assist operations in resolving production and quality issues through root cause analysis and hands-on troubleshooting of equipment.
Supervise the MRO crib, materials, and coordination between the maintenance department and stockroom.
Manage the maintenance parts and materials stockroom comprehensively and oversee stockroom inventory management using CMMS software.
Instruct employees on using the CMMS.
Handle daily inventory transactions, including usage, receipts, and PO verification.
Contribute to the implementation of new processes, equipment, and products.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associates Degree in Engineering or related field is preferred
A minimum of 3 years of Maintenance Planning / Scheduling experience within a manufacturing environment is required
A minimum of 3 years of experience utilizing a CMMS is required
Previous experience assisting with capital projects is preferred
The ideal candidate will have experience in federally regulated industries
Must be willing to learn, self-motivated, and a positive leader
