The role involves maintaining and repairing building systems and fixtures, handling heating and AC, carpentry, plumbing, and grounds care. Candidates should have a valid driver's license, dependability, and willingness to live on-site with a utility allowance; preferred HVAC and CPO

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and general knowledge of plumbing, electricity, and grounds work.
• Preferred apartment maintenance experience, CPO certification, and HVAC certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the exterior and interior of buildings, systems and fixtures.
• Perform heating/AC maintenance and general carpentry.
• Repair plumbing, electrical systems, windows, tiles, floors, walls, and doors.
• Assist Site Manager in preparing vacant apartments for occupancy in a timely manner.
• Paint apartments as scheduled and support preventive maintenance program.

Morrow Realty Company is currently seeking a full-time Apartment Maintenance Technician at #202 Wellington Way Apartments in St. Marys, Ga .

Job Summary:

Typical duties may include complying with Company rules and regulations, adhering to instructions from the Site Manager and designated Maintenance Coordinator for the property, being responsible for the physical maintenance and the general repair of the exterior and interior of the buildings, systems, and fixtures within the property, handling heating and AC maintenance, general carpentry, electrical systems, repairing windows, repairing tiles, repairing floors, repairing walls and doors, working with the Site Manager to ensure vacant apartments are made ready for occupancy in a timely manner, painting apartments as scheduled by the Site Manager or the Maintenance Coordinator, repairing and maintaining plumbing systems, maintaining the daily appearance and upkeep of the grounds, maintaining proper operation and servicing of lawn mowers and other lawn equipment, assisting the Site Manager with the implementation and continuation of a preventive maintenance program, organizing maintenance shop and equipment, ensuring the equipment is properly inventoried and accounted for in good operating condition, remaining "on-call" for emergency weekend service calls when necessary.
