Job summary

The Morrow Companies is seeking a full-time Apartment Maintenance Technician to service properties in Mobile, AL. You will perform interior and exterior maintenance, plumbing, electrical tasks, and HVAC-related preventive care under the Site Manager’s guidance.

You must be a dependable multitasker with a valid driver’s license and solid hands-on skills. On-site rent-free housing with utilities is offered along with health and dental insurance.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of plumbing, electricity, and grounds work required.

Responsibilities

• Comply with company rules and Site Manager instructions.
• Perform maintenance and repairs of interior and exterior properties.
• Handle heating and AC maintenance, carpentry, electrical systems, plumbing, and fixture repairs.
• Repair windows, tiles, floors, walls and doors as needed.
• Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy with Site Manager guidance.
• Paint apartments as scheduled by Site Manager or Maintenance Coordinator.
• Maintain grounds and operate lawn equipment; support preventive maintenance program.
• Organize maintenance shop and inventory equipment.

Morrow Realty Company is currently seeking a full-time Apartment Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

• complying with Company rules and regulations
• adhering to instructions from the Site Manager and designated Maintenance Coordinator for the property
• being responsible for the physical maintenance and the general repair of the exterior and interior of the property, systems, and fixtures within the property
• handling heating and AC maintenance

• working with the Site Manager to ensure vacant apartments are made ready for occupancy in a timely manner

• maintaining the daily appearance and upkeep of the grounds
• maintaining proper operation and servicing of lawn mowers and other lawn equipment
• assisting the Site Manager with the implementation and continuation of a preventive maintenance program
• organizing maintenance shop and equipment
• ensuring the equipment is properly inventoried and accounted for in good operating condition
• remaining “on-call” for emergency weekend service calls when necessary

Required Minimum Qualifications:

• A valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and general knowledge of plumbing, electricity, and grounds work.

Preferred Qualifications:
