Job summary

Upstate Niagara Cooperative, located at Dale Road Plant in Buffalo, NY, is seeking a full-time Parts Inventory Clerk. You will manage ordering, receiving, storage, and issuance of parts, maintain CMMS records, and support maintenance operations to ensure efficient plant uptime.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED (Associates preferred), computer literacy, and experience with Microsoft Office and CMMS. The position offers a full-time schedule and an hourly pay range of $20.00–$25.00.

Qualifications

• Prior knowledge of Computerized Maintenance and/or Parts Inventory programs desired.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain part stock level quantities with input from management.
• Set CMMS min/max order quantities to maintain desired inventory level of parts in warehouse.
• Frequent checks of the reorder report generated by Micromain.
• Order parts and equipment with input from management.
• Receives parts and enters information in CMMS.
• Assist mechanics in finding and signing parts out of stock.
• Create and modify tasks in CMMS system as required.
• Label and put away all parts and reorganize as needed.
• Assist in generation of work orders as requested by management.
• Generate work orders to issue all parts/materials that are signed out to maintenance.
• Perform cycle counts of parts in warehouse weekly.
• Assist in serializing repairable equipment and identify as a sub asset in CMMS (e.g., pumps, motors).
• Assist with entry of current assets and child assets in CMMS.
• Prepare for shipment and coordinate pickup of parts to be shipped from plant to vendors.
• Bring all parts received to the parts room daily; report heavy items to Maintenance.
• Log all parts received in the CMMS daily.
• Create and share via email weekly goals for parts storage/CMMS improvement.

With general supervision, be responsible for the proper ordering, receiving, storage, inventory, and issuance of the facility's parts and supplies. Maintains the parts room, coordinates and controls the parts inventory program, and maintains accurate accounting records with the accounting department.

• Creates, and shares via email on a weekly basis (Tuesday), goals for parts storage/Micro Main improvement project for the coming week.

Qualification Requirements:

Education and/or Experience:

Work Schedule:

• This will be a full-time non-exempt position and the hours may vary according to position demands.

Condition of Employment:

• Working safely according to Company Safety Policy and the OSHA General Duty Clause, following all Company Policies according to the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, and complying with all Federal, State and County regulations.

Pay:

$20.00-$25.00 per hour*
