Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a skilled Painter to perform routine painting, wall covering and floor repairs or replacement. You will assist with routine department maintenance and respond to emergencies as needed.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, preventative maintenance tasks, and basic electrical, plumbing or mechanical repairs as required. On-call rotation may be part of duties to ensure on-site coverage.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma oder GED required.
• 2 years painting experience required.
• Experience working in a commercial or healthcare setting preferred.
• Technical school training or apprenticeship program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine painting, wall covering and floor repairs or replacement.
• Assist with routine maintenance of the department.
• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance assignments, as well as responding to emergencies.
• May perform electrical, plumbing and mechanical repairs; take on-call on a rotating basis for emergencies when there is no on-site Plant Engineering coverage.
