Job summary

Frisco ISD in Frisco, TX is seeking a Maintenance Painter to apply coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect exterior and interior surfaces across district buildings and structures.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, knowledge of painting equipment, and the ability to work independently. You will smooth surfaces, fill holes, tape and texture, and lay out athletic fields while complying with district safety standards.

Primary Purpose

Apply coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures in both interior and exterior of buildings and structures throughout the district. Stripe athletic fields as required.

Qualifications

Education/Certification:High school diploma or GED

Valid Texas driver’s licenseSpecial Knowledge/Skills:Working knowledge of compressors, spray rigs, lifts, and painting equipment

Ability to select proper paint for the job

Ability to work independently

Major Responsibilities and Duties
