Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years of vocational training preferred.
• Strong mechanical ability and hands-on maintenance experience.
• Ability to supervise others and coordinate work with contractors.
• Experience across building trades such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical repairs, lamp changes, and light fixture work.
• Conduct plumbing repairs and installations; diagnose issues.
• Support HVAC operation and energy conservation programs.
• Carry out basic mechanical repairs on equipment (tractors, forklifts, order pickers).
• Repair building components (painting, drywall, carpentry); perform tune-ups for energy efficiency.
• Oversee contractors and coordinate maintenance tasks.

This position performs preventive maintenance and oversees service contractors’ delivery of routine maintenance (housekeeping, landscape maintenance, pest control, etc.). This role must possess broad skills in various building trades (I.E., plumbing, carpentry, electrical, mechanical, etc.) and broad mechanical aptitude.
