RI Council 94 is seeking a Maintenance Operations Technician to perform a wide range of maintenance tasks across Department of Administration facilities and grounds. The position is full-time, with standard workdays Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Qualifications

  • Perform a full range of maintenance and moderately skilled trade tasks in carpentry, painting, masonry, minor electrical, plumbing, heating, road maintenance, landscaping, and vehicle repairs.
  • Maintain and operate light equipment and power-driven machinery; inspect buildings and utilities and report repairs.
  • Respond to emergencies, snow removal, and other duties as required.

Must have a level of computer literacy, the ability to communicate via email, and to receive and close work orders through a work order software system; and related capacities and abilities.**E****DUCATION AND EXPERIENCE****:****Education****:** A minimum of 2 years of high school; and**E****x****perience****:** Employment as a journeyman tradesman.
