Job summary

AECOM is seeking MOT Engineers and Designers for our Transportation team in the Southeast United States. You will participate in design/build and alternative delivery projects, focusing on MOT design and highway improvements across cities and regions.

Candidates should have a BS in Engineering with 2+ years of related experience; EIT/PE preferred; relocation may be available. Hybrid work model with Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office.

Qualifications

• Experience with MOT design and highway projects is essential.

Summary

We are enthusiastically searching for all levels of Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Engineers and Designers to join our growing team throughout the southern US. Selected candidates can expect to work on alternative delivery projects, including mega-projects.

Key roles include

• Junior level, mid-level and senior level MOT Engineers and Task Leads
• MOT CAD Designers

Desired skillsets include

• Design/Build or Alternative Delivery project experience
• Experience or interest in developing design packages for highway improvement projects.
• Experience with Bentley Microstation and Open Roads
• Experience in all aspects of MOT design, including, but not limited to: Cross Sections, Typical Cross Sections, Traffic Control Plans, Profiles, Temporary Signing and Pavement Markings, Detour Routes

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

MOT CAD Designers

• BS Degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience

Junior Level Engineers

• BS in Engineering + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/ou r experience

Mid-Level Engineers

• BS in Engineering + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/ou r experience

Senior Level Engineers / Task Leads

• BS in Engineering + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/ou r experience

Preferred Qualifications

• EIT Certification or PE License
• Master's degree in engineering

Additional Information

• Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.

• These positions are expected to be hybrid (remote/in-office) and based out of a local AECOM office.
