Overview

The MX Systems Feature & Data Integrity Program Manager acts as an interface between the Business Units on new Features relating to the Maintenance Tracking System, PMI, and supports Endeavor for PMI related Data Reporting, Querying, and Loading.

Responsibilities

• Work with Business Units in Developing new features in PMI.
• Work with Business Units in building and maintaining data reports/queries using SQL, ShowCase, DigiREPORTS, and other applicable PMI system querying tools.
• Provide automation systems technical support to business user groups with Macros, Scripts - SQL Reporting.
• PMI Data querying, extracting, and loading in support of Aircraft Entry Into Service (EIS) efforts.
• Interact with Delta IT and external vendors and contractors for data integrity issues and follow through till resolution.
• Provide customer support for applications and programs managed by the MX Systems Quality & Support Team.
• Assist in establishing and documenting workflow and procedures for back-office departments and assist in training back office-users for new feature deployments.
• Assist in coordinating with Endeavor Business Units and Delta IT regarding the implementation of PMI System updates and upgrades as necessary.
• Assist in performing routine quality assurance surveillance of PMI.
• Provide input to the PMI User Guide content.
• Assist with MX Systems Support and Aircraft PERFECT Application functions as necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related work experience.
• 2 years of experience in Aviation Technical Operations preferred.
• 2 years of experience in providing technical customer service support preferred.

• Basic understanding of database management systems (DBMS) such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc. preferred.
• Proficiency in SQL and database query languages preferred.
• Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) preferred.
• Reliable and self-motivated.

• Able to multitask efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and able to work with all levels of an organization.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Full-time exempt position.
• Repetitive motion such as typing and data entry.
• Minimal physical exertion such as pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking, and light lifting of boxes, bags, files, and electronic equipment not in excess of 30 lbs.
• Computer work in a typical office environment, sitting for the majority of the day.
• Able to work additional hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
