Job summary

Ketjen Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Albemarle, is seeking a Maintenance Millwright at the Bayport site in Pasadena, Texas. You will perform safe maintenance and repair of mechanical rotating equipment and interpret drawings and maintenance manuals.

Candidates should have 5 years journeyman millwright experience, a high school diploma, and strong communication. Preference for NCCCO Crane Operator and knowledge of alignment systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyman Millwright with at least 5 years of experience.
• Experience in safe in-plant maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and manuals.
• Proficient with precision measuring equipment to 0.0001" tolerance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work night shifts on a 9/80 schedule.

Responsibilities

• Safe maintenance and repair of mechanical rotating equipment.
• Interpretation of mechanical designs and maintenance manuals.
• Use of hand, portable, and stationary power tools.
• Document daily equipment activities and reports.
• Demonstrate root cause analysis to failures and generate reports accordingly.
