Job summary

McWane Ductile – NJ is seeking a Maintenance Millwright to coordinate, participate, and repair production equipment, including machines with hydraulic and pneumatic controls, to keep the ductile iron pipe manufacturing line running efficiently.

Pay rate ranges from $32.04 to $39.43 per hour, with benefits including medical, dental, vision and company-paid life insurance, vacation/PSL and paid holidays, plus a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of related experience or training; or equivalent.
• Ability to read schematics; in-depth knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to interact with all personnel levels and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Identify mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic malfunctions.
• Understand proper handling and use of repair tools.
• Make repairs and rebuilds across the plant.
• Read blueprints and schematics to determine procedures.
• Readily dismantle machines and move equipment as needed.
• Assemble and install equipment such as shafting, conveyors, and rails.
• Construct foundations for machines and align equipment.
• Assemble, bolt, weld, rivet or fasten machines to foundations or structures.
