Job summary

Combined Metal Industries is hiring a Maintenance Millwright for our New Castle, PA site. You will perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair of plant and yard equipment in both outdoor and shop environments.

Responsibilities include fabricating parts, maintaining hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and installing new machinery. Three years of Millwright or Maintenance experience and welding skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years of Millwright or Maintenance Mechanic experience.
• Experience with welding.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and expedite repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on plant and yard equipment.
• Repair equipment breakdowns and infrastructure.
• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Fabricate parts and equipment per blueprints or instructions.
• Install and Commission new machinery and weld repairs as needed.

Job Type: Full-Time, non-exempt

Shift: 7 AM to 5:30 PM/ 8 AM to 6:30 PM

Here’s where you come in!

We are growing and need a Maintenance Millwright to join our team at our New Castle, PA site. In this role you will perform direct troubleshooting maintenance work for repair, adjustment, adaptation, re-design, preventative maintenance and installation of all plant and yard equipment, machinery and infrastructure to assist in a safe and productive work environment for all employees. This position is performed outside in our recycling yards as well as indoors in our maintenance shop.

Here’s what you’ll be responsible for in this role:

• Perform Preventive Maintenance activities as assigned on all equipment and machines throughout the plant and yards in conjunction with daily production requirements
• Repair breakdown of equipment, machinery, and infrastructure
• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Fabricate parts and other equipment as per instructions or blueprint
• Install and commission new machineryPerform weld repairs on equipment

We think it would be awesome if you have:

• Millwright Certification is an asset
• Minimum of three years of Millwright or Maintenance Mechanic experience.
• Experienced with welding
• Experience diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems and expediting repair
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Own tools
