Job summary

Crystal Creamery in Modesto, CA is seeking experienced Plant Maintenance Mechanics to keep production running safely and efficiently. The role offers $32.00–$36.00 per hour (DOE) and 100% employer-paid medical benefits for employees and their families.

You'll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain processing and packaging equipment, read blueprints, and support continuous improvement while adhering to food safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing or food production.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ammonia refrigeration experience is preferred.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

What We're Looking For

Position Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, climb, and bend throughout the workday.
• Comfortable working in wet, refrigerated, and high-noise manufacturing environments.
• Flexibility to work any shift, including overtime, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require.
• Must successfully pass pre-employment background screening and drug testing.
