Responsibilities
This is a WOW (Work on Weekends) position. Schedules for WOW employees include working every Saturday & Sunday. Employees in designated WOW positions earn premium pay in addition to their competitive hourly rates and shift differential.
Works throughout hospital, medical office buildings, and off site locations, which may include limited access areas including medication rooms. Must be able to perform general maintenance of buildings and equipment. Responds to routine and emergency work orders in allotted time frame. Tasks also relate to emergency systems i.e. emergency generator, fire alarm systems, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, electrical distribution and electrical distribution circuits. Performs ongoing preventive maintenance programs for assigned equipment. Must have some problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Must follow through with little supervisory guidance. Must demonstrate good time management skills and work well within a team environment. Must have good communication and interaction skills with staff, physicians, patients, and visitors. Work week position is scheduled and may vary according to staffing changes and weather conditions. Works with new employee(s) in training of department functions.
