Job summary

Sauer Brands, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to keep a facility operating and repair issues before they worsen. The role covers a wide range of repair tasks around the plant and requires hands-on experience with machinery.

The successful candidate will read diagrams/blueprints, work with gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, and agitator systems, and perform preventive maintenance while documenting tasks and collaborating with the maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand, walk, push, pull, kneel, and reach.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
• Demonstrate excellent productivity, quality, safety, and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret diagrams and blueprints.
• Knowledge of gearboxes, conveyors, chains, pumps, and agitator systems.
• Proficient with pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical trouble shooting.
• Maintain documentation for tasks completed.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks.

MAINTENANCE - MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

Hours are as follows: Friday 5AM - 5:30PM, Saturday 5AM - 5:30PM, Sunday 5AM - 5:30PM, Monday 6AM - 10AM

Overall Goal of Position:

Responsible for keeping a variety of machines, appliances, and mechanical systems operating safely and efficiently.

Job Summary

A Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for keeping a facility operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to get worse. A Maintenance Mechanic will usually be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks around the facility.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Knowledge and proper use of tools; a wide range of knowledge with power tools and hand tools
  • Proficient with pneumatics, hydraulics, and or electrical trouble shooting
• Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints.
• Knowledge of gearboxes, conveyors, chains, pumps, and agitator systems
• Assist in other mechanical duties as required.
• Complete any and all tasks given by department management.
• Complete any and all documentation associated with the task given.
• Knowledge and proper techniques for Preventive Maintenance task
