Job summary

ConMet - Canton, NC facility is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair a variety of injection molding/assembly mechanical equipment and systems. This is a 12 Hour Night shift position.

You will perform maintenance and repair tasks, fabricate and install components, and carry out preventive maintenance while collaborating with the team and following NFPA 70E PPE rules.

Qualifications

• College and/or trade school highly preferred
• Minimum 2 years of related industrial maintenance mechanic experience required
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints required
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools for repairs and installations
• Familiarity with high-voltage and low-voltage systems
• Experience in field service, hydraulics systems or industrial electrician roles is a plus
• Working knowledge of PLC programming and operation is a plus
• Good working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
• Willingness to learn how to safely utilize a forklift and a high-lift

ConMet - Canton, NC location is looking to fill a Maintenance Mechanic position to perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of injection molding/assembly mechanical equipment and systems.
