Job summary

Qualifications

• Safety, USDA, HACCP and plant rules and regulations adherence requirements.
• Ability to construct, maintain and test mechanical equipment and components.
• Identify parts or machines needing replacements or repairs.
• Apply shop mathematics to complete assignments.
• Interpret equipment drawings to adjust, maintain or repair machinery.
• Respond to production-area requests for mechanical issue resolution.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Complete tasks with accuracy and efficiency within time/resources.
• Perform other duties to support production as needed.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety, USDA, HACCP, and the plane rules and regulations.
• Construct, maintain and test mechanical equipment, machinery and components
• Identify parts or machines needing new or replacements parts
• Utilize shop mathematics to complete assignments
• Interpret drawings of equipment in order to properly adjust, maintain or repair the machinery
• Respond to requests by production area when mechanical issues with equipment have been identified.
• Performs preventative maintenance.
• Complete assigned tasks with accuracy and efficiency, in regards to time as well as resources.
• Performs other related duties as assigned to support production demands as may be specified by customer or client.
