Job summary

HHS is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic for our Central Texas Laundry facility. This role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to keep laundry systems running safely and efficiently.

The position requires hands-on skills with electrical, plumbing, welding, and control systems. We expect 2+ years in maintenance engineering, experience with 3-phase electrical work, PLCs, and the use of power tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance engineering experience.
• Experience with machinery, electrical systems, electronics, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and boiler applications.
• Strong 3-phase 230-volt electrical troubleshooting.
• PLC programming experience.
• Proficient with power and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial laundry equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and facility systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system issues.
• Complete equipment and building inspections and keep records.
